Late Breaking News : The Black Horse Inn : 16 November 2018

Many will be pleased to note that the Black Horse Inn at West Tytherley has re-opened for business with Nick and Elaine looking forward to appoint a new long term tenant.  Good ales, for sure as it is that rare animal - a free house,  Opening times, for the present will be limited to Tuesday through Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch time. For the present there'll be full roast Sunday lunches but no food at other times.  However, on Wedneday evenings when the roving Fisdh and Chip van visits, why not bring the food into the pub and enjoy a drink within?

Call 017 94 34 03 08 for reservations and other details.

When the pub is fully operational again it will fire up its own skittle alley - the Hampshire bar game of choice.  The public bar, whose fireplace came originally from nearby Norman Court manor and dates from mid 17th century, has a good wood burning stove, there's a dining room and, associated with the skittle alley, there are some function rooms too.  Live music takes place from time to time, and given sufficient notice, large parties, weddings, family gatherings and so on can be readily catered for.
